| Whole Health Fitness offers a variety of stress management workshops.
Presentations are brief and focused with an emphasis on providing
information that can be readily utilized for everyday use. Topics include;
the nature of stress, our physiological reactions to stress as well as its
cumulative effect, learning to develop an awareness of our own stress
reactivity, learning skills to monitor stress levels and learning how to
become more stress hardy. The subject of mindfulness is integral to these presentations and Whole Health Fitness offers continuing education and
classes in meditation, yoga, and MBSR.
Our presentations are geared to small groups to encourage discussion in a
friendly and informal atmosphere. Worksite presentations can focus on
issues pertinent to your particular site. Emphasis is on the relevance of
the material and its ability to be easily incorporated into everyday life.
To further this goal, presentations can build upon each other, thereby
continuing to reinforce past learning and stimulate new learning.
Participants are encouraged to leave sessions with practical skills for
everyday living through the use of handouts which include suggestions for
practical application, book lists, related web sites, and local wellness
facilities in the area. Monthly "brown bag lunch" series are also available
where topics are presented informally and employees are invited to attend
during their lunch hour.
Whole Health Fitness teaches yoga and meditation classes at your site to
help your employees learn skills to become more stress hardy. Classes can be
scheduled to fit your needs.
Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction classes are also offered at your site.
